Manchester City set to make Sterling highest paid in EPL – Full Details

Premier League leader Manchester City is set to make Raheem Sterling among the best paid in England, according to report.

The Sun says the Etihad outfit is ready to pay Sterling a whooping sum of £300,000-a-week to make the England international the League’s top paid player.

Manchester City boss is convinced about the performance of the attacker and wants to reward the England ace after his amazing form this season.

Talks will confirm him as one of Europe’s top talents — with wages just one tier down from megastars Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Sterling, 22, is likely to top Manchester United’s Paul Pogba who is on £290,000 a per week.

Pogba’s team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on more before his injury meant new terms with a fresh deal for this season.

Sterling has two full seasons left on his current deal and City want his future tied to the club.

The England international scored latest goals against Huddersfield Town and Southampton to give the Etihad outfit the maximum point to maintain the top of the Premier League.
