Chelsea have reportedly eyeing Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye in the January transfer window as back up to Alvaro Morata.

The Blues manager Antonio Conte wants to improve his squad ahead winter transfer as the Premier League Champions has cooled off their interest in Celtic forward Moussa Dembele.

According to Standard claiming that Red Star Belgrade striker Boakye are on Conte’s wish list with 24-year-old is enjoying a second stunning season in Serbia following a move from Italian minnows Latina.

Boakye netted 16 times in 20 games last season and has 23 in 28 games so far this campaign.

Ghana forward has spell in Genoa, Sassuolo, Juventus Elche, Atalanta, Roda JC Kerkrade and Latina before moving to team-up with Serbia outfit Red Star Belgrade.
